Not only is she a caring provider in the world of aesthetics and health, but also in her home. Athena is a proud wife and mother of 4 amazing children who all serve as inspiration to push further in her career. Her career has been a journey of constant learning, growth, and unwavering commitment to her patients’ well-being.
As the Founder of Get Up and Glo Medspa, Athena Brummett, DNP, FNPc, is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner with more than twenty years experience, including medically supervised weight loss, hormone balancing and health counseling. Athena’s educational journey is a testament to her dedication to excellence. Her journey began in 2002 when she completed her Family Nurse Practitioner program at UNC Chapel Hill. She earned her DNP from East Carolina University in 2021, a testament to her commitment to staying at the forefront of medical knowledge. Since then, she has continually expanded her expertise, becoming certified in various specialties.
Athena is certified in medical aesthetic procedures such as wrinkle reducers, dermal fillers, sclerotherapy, PDO threads, PRP/PRF and microneedling, and more. Athena’s credentials are a testament to her commitment to providing the highest quality care to her patients. She is not just a practitioner but a partner in your journey towards looking and feeling your best.

Gabrielle, but we fondly call her her "Gabby", has been with Get Up and Glo from day one. She has a rich background in customer service, the medical field and office management. She is often the sweet voice you hear when you call our office. In addition, she is passionate about helping others feel good about themselves. She is our body contouring specialist. Gabby is a loving wife and mother. She enjoys spending time with her family and attending church to expand her faith for her love of Christ.

Sherri is a valued Nurse Injector at Get Up and Glo Medspa. She has been a RN for more than twenty years. She is a graduate of Winston Salem State University and East Carolina University. Sherri is passionate about aesthetics and helping others to see their inner and outer beauty along with enhancing one's natural beauty. She is certified in wrinkle reducers and dermal fillers. Brooke, our warm-hearted licensed esthetician and PMU and paramedical tattoo artist, joins us from Greensboro. With a focus on permanent makeup artistry and scar lightening, she is truly dedicated to skincare and to making you look and feel your best! Known for her compassion and meticulous attention to detail, you can book your appointment with confidence, knowing that Brooke is committed to ensuring you have an exceptional experience in her care!
Licensed Esthetician
Lydia was born and raised in Lexington, NC. She attended UNC Charlotte and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. She worked as a trauma nurse for two years before finding a passion in the ever-growing aesthetic world! She is passionate about helping her patients achieve their health and beauty goals. She wants to make every patient look and feel their best. Lydia enjoys spending time with her family and friends, working out, and trips to the beach. Lydia is excited to be part of the Get Up and Glo team and will be offering IV Vitamin Drips, teeth whitening and medical piercings.
Lead Nurse Injector
Logan is a Registered Nurse with a passion for aesthetics. She became certified in Botox and Dermal Fillers in 2024. Like most of our clinical staff, she is also a Davidson County resident and is enthusiastic to bring services of larger cities to Davidson County. Logan has experience in pediatrics, NICU and aesthetics. Whether she is performing tox or piercing your little one's ears, she is caring and puts her patients first!
